Jays Roofing was founded in 1997 by Jay himself — a straightforward belief that if you do the job right, treat people fairly, and show up when you say you will, the work takes care of itself. Jay passed away in 2019, but what he built didn’t go anywhere.
His son Jeff carries it forward today, alongside a team that’s as rooted in this valley as the business itself. Jeff’s wife, estimator Chris, and office manager Corey were all born and raised right here in the Swannanoa Valley. This isn’t a franchise or a regional chain that opened an Asheville office. These are your neighbors — people who drive these roads, know these mountains, and understand what WNC weather does to a roof.
What started as a one-truck operation has grown into a full-service roofing company, but the core is unchanged: honest assessments, real schedules, and a crew that stands behind every job. Over 30 years of reputation, one roof at a time.
